Q. How many televisions can I get hooked up with my DISH Network subscription?
A. DISH is currently making available a whole home solution approach to simplify and enhance the way you watch DISH Network! Currently, you can get DISH Network installed in up to 6 rooms. Ask your DISH representative for additional details on the simplified fee structure that includes many types of receivers included in your package at one rate.

Q. I am currently a renter. Who should I contact for authorization to have DISH installed?
A. If you rent an apartment, the FCC dictates you have rights when it comes to satellite television dish installation. If you have a private, unobstructed outside area such as a balcony, patio, yard etc., with a southwestern view, you should be able to successfully install and use a dish. Be sure to confirm with your landlord or property management company they have authorized dish installations within the community.

Q. Can I get my locals in satellite from DISH?
A. Local channels are available through DISH in 95% of homes with televisions, in over 155 cities.

Q. What does DISH have to offer in high definition (HD)?
A. At this time, DISH has over 200 channels available in high definition. Catch your favorite sports, movies and more in lush color and vivid detail of high definition television.

Q. I see DISH Network equipment advertised as free. What type of equipment can I get for free with one of the DISH basic packages?
A. You will get the receivers you need along with your programming package for up to four rooms. The standard packages come with DVRs which allow you to watch different channels at the same time.

Q. What does DISH Network have to offer in adult programming?
A. You can choose from up to 10 different adult channels with your DISH Network subscription. Networks you can select from include: Playboy TV (497), REAL (494), ClubJenna (491), Adult Showcase (485 & 486), Shorteez (487), fresh! (493), XTSY (496), Spice:XCESS (492), Penthouse TV (495) & Penthouse TV/XTSY.

Q. Will I be able to watch my local weather on DISH?
A. You will be able to watch your local weather on DISH on several different channels. Get your weather by tuning into your local channels, The Weather Channel and/or DISH Instant Weather for those of you with Interactive TV.

Q. I used to have DishTV and I’d like to get it again. Will I be eligible for your current promotions if I switch back, or do I have to be a new first-time DISH customer?
A. DISH promotions are typically for new subscribers and past subscribers who have not had DISH for some denomination of months. If you are a former DISH customer, contact us at the toll free number listed above and a DISH specialist can tell you if you currently qualify.

Q. I am not sure I will be living in the same location for two years. If I move, can I take my DISH Network service with me?
A. If it is within your first two years of service, you can get free installation in your new home through the DISH Network Mover Program.

Q. What can I do to obtain DISH without a credit card?
A. Use a debit card with the MasterCard, Visa, Amex or Discover logo. If you do not have a bank account with a debit card attached to it, put the account in the name of a person in your household willing and with a credit card.
